After the intervention of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UP Public Service Commission has decided to conduct the preliminary examination of PCS 2024 on the same day and in one shift as before. Thus, the Commission accepted the demand of the candidates regarding PCS Pre 2024 recruitment. After the decision of the Commission, normalization will also not be applicable in the PCS recruitment examination.

The commission has also constituted a committee to decide the examination pattern.

However, the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer 2023 Preliminary Examination Commission has decided to postpone. Students are not ready to back down.

The Commission accepted their demand for recruitment examination as per division and rules.

 

Competitive students say that the Commission has accepted their demand for one recruitment examination under the Division End Rule, while their demand for the second recruitment examination is still pending. The protesting students say that they will not end their protest until their demands are met and they do not get any instructions from the Commission. The agitating competitive students are still protesting and shouting slogans outside gate number two of the Commission. All the appearing students have applied for UP PCS and both Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer recruitment examinations. The candidates say that they will not end their agitation until their entire demands are met.

11 detained students will be released

Earlier on Thursday evening, UP Public Service Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar announced this decision among the competing students after a high-level meeting. During this, Prayagraj DM Ravindra Kumar Mandad, Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba and Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant were also present. On this occasion, Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba announced the release of 11 people involved in the protest by competitive students after counselling.
