Washington: US President-elect Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he is ready to run for a third term if his party re-elects him as the presidential candidate. Donald Trump surprised everyone by saying this.

This remains a complex constitutional question in the United States. After President Franklin Dino Roosevelt was elected to a fourth consecutive term, the U.S. Constitution was amended to prevent a person from serving two consecutive terms. That’s why Donald Trump did not stand in the 2020 elections. He was re-elected in 2024 and now there are legal and constitutional questions about whether he can stand in 2028.

Amidst this controversy, newly elected President Trump honored the invitation of President Joe Biden and reached the White House on Wednesday. President Biden welcomed him there. During the brief visit, President Biden assured Trump of a smooth transition. Trump will now occupy the Oval Office from January 20.

Important issues are also likely to be discussed between the President and the new President. Biden then naturally threw Trump a tea party, during which First Lady Jill Biden also arrived. He gave a handwritten letter to Donald Trump to Trump’s wife Melina, which led to a pleasant conversation between the three. Trump left the White House after this brief visit.

Now the question is about the various cases that they are bringing. Legal and constitutional experts are engaged in solving its legal and constitutional conundrum. The important thing is that as long as the supreme head of the nation is in office, no legal action can be taken against him. If legal action has to be taken then first there will be “impeachment” against him, even if he has to be removed from office, if the President does not accept this impeachment passed with a clear majority, then no legal or constitutional action will be taken. Revolt is the only option, but if the American people are very wise then that situation is not likely. This should not be forgotten.

Remember that Louis XVI of France, Czar Nicholas II of Russia and dictator Benito Mussolini of Italy had to abdicate because of revolution and rebellion.
