Shahjahanpur, 14 November (HS). Kant police today arrested the mother of the accused van driver who raped a minor student. It is alleged that he had helped his son.
Inspector in-charge said that on November 4, a minor girl student studying in a convent school located in Kant area was lured by school van driver Shivanshu and taken to his home. Where he raped the student. Not only this, the accused van driver had threatened the student that if she told anyone about the incident, he would kill her. The police arrested the accused Shivanshu on the second day of the incident and sent him to jail. The police were investigating the matter.
Based on the statements and evidence of the victim student and her mother, the police found that accused Shivanshu’s mother Neeta had helped Shivanshu in the incident.
Inspector in-charge said that Shivanshu’s mother Neeta was arrested by the police near Dadraul turn on Thursday afternoon. He told that the accused woman has been sent to jail.
