Dar es Salaam, 08 July (Hindustan Times), India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar participated in the Regional Ambassadors’ Conference here. The conference was attended by delegates from Angola, Burundi, Congo, Swaziland, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, Tanz.a, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The External Affairs Minister tweeted that the conference was helpful in formulating a comprehensive regional strategy. During this, he reiterated India’s commitment to strengthen its partnership with Africa and the Global South. Earlier, Jaishankar unveiled a statue of Swami Vivekananda at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center in Dar es Salaam. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this statue will certainly bear witness to the humane teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
