The latest case is of Karachi. Here the Karachi Police has arrested a five-member gang, who used to loot the stock of cooking oil in police vans.

Police told the media that the gang had identified five suspects during a raid near the Garden headquarters. Those arrested include the owner of the godown, an employee and a policeman.

Police said armed men in police vans used to rob goods vehicles carrying stock of cooking oil in District Central.

Dozens of robberies in a month

The police also told that there have been dozens of loot incidents in the last month. After the robbery, the accused used to hide the edible oil in the godown. Clifton Division Police arrested two men in a successful covert operation following a series of home invasions in the Defense and Clifton area earlier this month.

According to the information, the accused Ashraf alias Achho and Asif are accused of leading a gang of thieves, who committed several robberies in the posh area of ​​Karachi. Clifton SP Ahmed Chowdhary said that the three robbers of the Acho gang are allegedly most wanted by the police.

A large amount of jewelery was also found

During this operation, the police recovered a huge amount of jewelry and other expensive items, which have a total value of millions of dollars. The police have also recovered the tools used in the theft from the accused. The Clifton SP claimed that the gang had three members and one of their accomplices, Khurshid, was already serving a jail term for his involvement in such crimes.

The police officer said that this gang was active in dacoity incidents for about 16 years, due to which the residents of the area were suffering huge losses.
