Bilaspur / Raipur, July 7 (Hindustan Times). A bus carrying people going from Ambikapur to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting near Bilaspur Beltara collided with the highway at around 5 am on Friday. Two people have died in the accident. 6 people have been injured. Three are seriously injured in this. There were about 40 people in the bus. Police Patrolling, TI, Tehsildar are present at the spot. The injured have been admitted to Apollo Bilaspur.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel tweeted on the accident and wrote – The sad news has been received about the accident of the bus coming from Ambikapur to attend the meeting of the Honorable Prime Minister near Bilaspur. The news of the tragic death of 2 people has been received. May God give peace to his soul and courage to his family members. There is information of 3 people seriously injured and 3 people injured. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
