Rourkela, July 7 (Hindustan Times). Madhya Pradesh will face Jharkhand in the final of the 13th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2023.
Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand registered victories in their respective semi-final matches at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, Odisha on Thursday.
In the first semi-final of the day, Hockey Madhya Pradesh defeated Hockey Haryana 2-0. Jyoti Singh (58”) converted the penalty corner to give Madhya Pradesh the lead. After this, Bhumiksha Sahu’s goal (60”) in the last minute of the game ensured the victory of her team.
In the second semi-final, Hockey Jharkhand defeated Chhattisgarh Hockey 3-0. Balo Horo (9″, 54″) scored twice from the penalty corner, followed by Neeru Kullu (55″) to seal the victory for Jharkhand.
