Team leaves for Gujarat, administration in constant contact with Gujarat officials

A team from the revenue and police department, led by naib tehsildar Akhilesh Sharma have left for Gujarat. Dewas district administration is in constant communication with their counterparts in Gujarat to provide all possible help to the families.

Death toll rises to 18, five injured

According to reports, at least eighteen people lost their lives and five others were injured following an explosion at a firecracker warehouse in Banaskantha district, Gujarat, on Tuesday.

The blast triggered a fire and caused the building to collapse, authorities said. The facility was a storage unit for firecrackers and there is currently no evidence to suggest firecrackers were being manufactured at the site.
