Mumbai – After the death of an 83 -year -old father of a family of Kutch in Navi Mumbai, the family presented an inspirational example by donating his eyes and body. During his 83 -year rule, he helped many people and continued to help the society even after his death. Ba’s son had removed his eyes for eye donation.

83-year-old Javarben Thakarashi Gala, a member of his native village Samagoga, a member of the Oswal community, who lived with her family in Vashi Sector-28, Navi Mumbai, breathed his last at home on 11 April.

Giving information about this, Javarben’s son Manish Gala told Gujarat News that ‘mother had a heart problem. For the last five days, his heart rate had reached 200 beats per minute. His health deteriorated at 10 pm and he refused to be hospitalized.

I, Bipin Shah Nand, Sagar Savala, Chandrakant Chheda, we work for eye donation throughout Navi Mumbai under the aegis of Tarun Mitra Mandal. I have donated my father, uncle, mother -in -law and now my mother’s eyes out of my hands. We all know how important eyes are, so my mother always wanted her eyes to be donated. Similarly, body donation is equally important for students’ education.

Students have only one body to study for the first semester. Then there is also a big list in India to get eyes. Eye donation should be done within 8 hours of death of a person. Now bones can also be donated. Our whole family is very proud of the fact that the mother was able to donate her eyes at such a young age, because she was healthy.

It is noteworthy that Vashi KVO Mahajan Navi Mumbai also makes food and other arrangements for the families of those who have died and are unable to cook at home.
