75th Anniversary of India-China Relations: Exchange of messages on 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and China

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping sent messages to each other on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and China. The two leaders spoke of further strengthening bilateral relations and contributing to the creation of a multi -polar world on this important occasion. President Xi Jinping mentioned the ‘Dragon-Hathi Dance’ between India and China, which he described as beneficial for both countries. Xi appealed to both countries to increase mutual trust and cooperation, and said that India and China should work together for mutual profit and development.

He said that stable bilateral relations between India and China would be beneficial for an important part of the world. Relationships were spoiled after ‘Galwan’

There was a deep tension in relations between India and China since violent clashes in the Galwan Valley of East Ladakh in June 2020.
