7 Children Injured As School Van Overturns In Burhanpur
Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh): Seven children and the driver were injured when the school van in which they were travelling overturned on Haiderpur-Nepanagar road on Tuesday morning, a police official said.
As per reports, the incident took place at approximately 9 am when the speeding van lost balance and overturned under Nepanagar police station jurisdiction. Eyewitnesses said there was chaos as the distressed children inside the vehicle screamed. Passersby and local residents rushed to help. They broke the glass panes of the vehicle and took the children out.
The kids were taken to the Community Health Centre, Siwal. Nepanagar police station in-charge Gyanu Jaiswal said, “Seven school children and the driver are admitted to the Community Health Centre of Siwal. The police have started an investigation into the incident and a case would be registered against the driver.”
Wheat-Laden Trailer Overturns Due To Fog In Alot
Alot (Madhya Pradesh): A trailer truck loaded with wheat overturned on Jaora-Agar road due to dense fog on Tuesday, scattering wheat sacks across the road. The incident occurred at Bhojakhedi Magra when the driver of the speeding trailer truck lost control over the wheel and the vehicle tipped over, with half of it going off the road.

Fortunately, neither the driver nor the cleaner sustained any injuries. Chaos ensued as visibility was severely limited. To alert other drivers, the truck driver placed stones some distance from the accident site. Later, a crane was used to straighten the trailer and around 5 pm, the vehicle was removed from the scene, allowing traffic to resume. The scattered wheat was loaded on another trolley.
