Mirzapur, July 07 (Hindustan Times). 642 villages of Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh will be made model villages. By becoming a model village, the villagers will now get city-like facilities. Before making the model village, Pradhan, secretary, panchayat assistant, sweeper and two masons from each development block will be sent for exposure visit to Bulandshahr. For this, guidelines have been issued from the DPRO office to all the Assistant Development Officers.
According to Vinod Kumar Srivastava, District Consultant, Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, instructions have come from the government to inform about the proposed model of Bulandshahr before starting the work in the model village. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, the mission director had instructed that before making the model village, he should inform the masons including the chief about the proposed model of Bulandshahr, so that on the lines of Bulandshahr, the model village in Mirzapur could be finalized. . In such a way, before the work in Ganga Gram, Model Gram, Smart Village and SSG villages, concerned Pradhan, Secretary, Panchayat Assistant, sweeper and two masons from each development block will be informed about the proposed model of Bulandshahr.
According to the DPRO, all the Assistant Development Officers have been asked to prepare a list so that they can be sent to Bulandshahr. About 642 villages in the district are to be developed as model villages and facilities like cities are to be provided in them. For example, drainage, disposal of sewage, drinking water, disposal of waste under solid and liquid management, safety tank and other works are to be done. Apart from this, along with cleanliness in these villages, toilets are also to be covered.
