In the third Janta darbar held by the Forest Minister and Palghar District Guardian Minister, Ganesh Naik, a total of 610 public grievances were heard.

The darbar was held on Friday conducted at Vishnudas Bhave Natyagruha in Vashi and it lasted for 12 hours non-stop, from 11 AM to 11 PM.

Citizens from across the city came forward to present their problems directly to the Minister. Of the 610 grievances received, a large number were resolved on the spot through coordination with officials from various departments including the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), CIDCO, Police, MIDC, Education, Health, Revenue, and Forests. The remaining cases have been taken up for time-bound redressal, officials confirmed.

The Janata Darbar also saw follow-ups on previously submitted grievances, with updates shared on action taken so far—adding an element of accountability to the public forum.

This session marks the third successful Janata Darbar led by Minister Naik, following two earlier events in Palghar. The initiative has emerged as a vital platform for direct dialogue between citizens and the administration. The next Janata Darbar is scheduled to be held in Thane on April 11.
