Kamrup (Assam), 08 July (Hindustan Times). 600 live bullets recovered from Avadh Assam Express by GRP at Rangiya. Sources of Rangiya GRP police station have told today that on the basis of a secret information, a GRP team conducted a search in the Dibrugarh to Delhi-bound Avadh Assam Express. During the search, 600 live rounds were recovered from one person.
The person named Kailash Sharma who was carrying the bullet was arrested. During interrogation after his arrest, it was found that he was carrying this bullet from Dimapur to Bihar. Police arrested Kailash Sharma with bullet.
Further action is being taken in the matter by registering an FIR in this regard at the GRP police station.
