Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a heart-wrenching incident, a 6-year-old boy from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was declared brain dead in Abu Dhabi. Following the doctors’ request, the child’s parents made the courageous decision to donate his liver, heart, and both kidneys—giving a new lease on life to four individuals in Abu Dhabi.
Vivek Chapparwal, originally from Indore, has been living in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two young sons for the past six years. On March 29, the family visited a friend’s residence.
The building had a swimming pool on the 5th floor, and little Ayanvit, excited by the sight of the pool, jumped in.

Tragically, he suffered a severe head injury that led to a cardiac arrest. CPR was administered immediately, and he was rushed to the hospital. Despite all efforts by the medical team, Ayanvit was declared brain dead on April 5.
Devastated by the loss of their beloved son, the parents were overwhelmed with grief. But when doctors informed them that his organs could save multiple lives, they made the brave and compassionate decision to donate.
On April 9, doctors successfully retrieved the child’s heart, liver, and both kidneys, which were then transplanted into four patients in critical need.
Moved by the family’s extraordinary courage, the Abu Dhabi government took full responsibility for all hospital and repatriation expenses. They ensured that Ayanvit’s body was sent back to India with dignity and care.
Ram Swaroop Mundada, media representative of the Akhil Bharatiya Maheshwari Mahasabha, shared that the Chapparwal family received full support and recognition from the authorities.
The child’s body was flown to Indore on a special flight, and his last rites were performed with traditional rituals on April 12.
