6 Booked For Thrashing Women Guards In MTH Hospital In Indore; They Were Stopped By The Guard From Entering The Paediatric Ward | Representative Photo
Indore (Madhya Praesh): Six people were booked for thrashing women security guards in MTH Hospital following an argument over not being allowed to meet a child and his parents in the ICU, police said on Tuesday. The accused damaged the property of the hospital and also misbehaved with the police.
According to the police, a case has been registered against Ambaram Chouhan, Kamal, Manish, Rishabh, Vishal and Sunny under various sections including section 132 of the BNS (Assault or use of criminal force against a public servant during duty or preventing him/her from duty) on the complaint of security guard Radha Dangi.
Radha said in her complaint that she was deployed outside the paediatric ward in MTH hospital. In this ward, a child of a family from Hatod was admitted. About 8 to 10 people reached there and said they wanted to meet the child and her mother. Radha told them that the time to meet the patient was between 11 AM and 12.30 PM and they should come at the appropriate time.
The visitors allegedly started an argument with the security guard and one of them damaged the gate by kicking it.
They also thrashed the complainant and other women guards as well as a man. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot but the accused also allegedly misbehaved with the policemen.
 Central Kotwali police station in charge Ravindra Parashar informed the Free Press that a case had been registered against the accused and an investigation into the case was on.
 Meanwhile, the family members of the child patient alleged that the security guard thrashed them and the police misbehaved with them. The police did not take action against the guards, they alleged.
