Bijnor, 08 July (Hindustan Times). Giving information, District Agriculture Officer Jasveer Singh said that on Saturday, one rake each of IFFCO and Kribhco Ltd. manufactured urea has arrived in the district. 2600-2600 metric tonnes of fertilizers have arrived in this rack respectively. Including the rakes of both, the district has received a total of 5200 metric tonnes, which is being transported to cooperative and sugarcane societies as well as agri junctions.

He informed that there is sufficient availability of urea in the district for Kharif season. Urea fertilizer rakes will come continuously in the month of July as per the allotment plan. He has appealed to the farmer brothers to get urea fertilizer from the cooperative societies and designated centers according to their present requirement and use it in the crops as per the recommendation.

It is worth mentioning that there was a lot of resentment in the farmer org.zations due to the shortage of fertilizers in the district. While giving a memorandum to the District Magistrate, many org.zations had warned of agitation, demanding to meet the shortage of fertilizers.
