Television actor and Bigg Boss 14 contestant Aly Goni has slammed INOX theatres for poor viewing experience of Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s recently-released film Deva. Taking to his Instagram stories, Aly stated that the film was paused in between without prior intimation.

Aly shared a video of the paused screen. He revealed that the film was stopped during an action sequence in which Shahid’s character is seen lying on the floor after being beaten up.

“Inorbit mein hum film dekh rahe hai aur yeh dekho… Yeh tab se film atki hui hai. Shahid Kapoor uthh hi nahi raha. Yeh INOX ki halat hai bhai. Dekh lo,” he is heard saying in the video.

In another video, Aly said, “Theek hai bhai phir se band ho gaya. Yeh INOX ki halat hai. Yeh panch panch hazaar (5000) ki tickets le ke, yeh dekhiye. Band! Woh bol rahe hai 15-20 minute lagenge… @inoxmovies disappointed never coming back.”

The actor also stated that the experience of watching Deva on the big screens has been ruined for him.

“Thanks to INOX, aap ki wajah se hum film nahi dekh paaye. We love you Shahid Kapoor. Ek aur attempt zaroor marenge, kyunki main sirf Shahid Kapoor ke liye gaya tha film dekhne but PVR ko chahiye nahi ki hum film dekhe and theatre kharab ho gaya hai, aawaz chal nahi rahi hai aur hum yaha se nikal kar ab jaa rahe hai,” he concluded.

About Deva

Soon after it hit the big screens, Deva received mixed reviews from the audience as well as film critics. A section of social media users praised Shahid’s intense performance as a cop and lauded the action sequences.

Shahid plays an angry, young cop in the film, and can be seen packing some intense punches and delivering impressive gun-toting scenes.
