So I started walking 50-50 kilometers
The actor said, ‘I started from zero. Before entering the world of acting, I used to spend all the money I earned from my job to pay off the loan on my bungalow. I had no money left and I was not in the habit of saving money. I live for today and do not save money. All the money from the job was spent on the bungalow. In the beginning there was a lot of struggle in this situation. I couldn’t ride the local train so I started walking 50-50 km. However, initially it lasted for six months and then I started getting ad films.
…because I wanted to be a movie star
Sanand further explains that, when I used to do TV shows, I used to do cameos. I didn’t want to reveal my true face, because I wanted to be a movie star. So I didn’t want to get too much exposure on TV. But when I saw Sushant Singh Rajput, he was playing the lead role in the popular serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and then appeared in the film ‘Kai Po Hai’. I thought if he could get this far, why can’t I? During that time, I got the offer of ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ which I accepted. Then I got the offer from Mardaani and I also started working in films. I have done more than 25-30 films in my career so far.
According to Sanand, he was interested in acting since childhood. He said, ‘I have been a natural actor. I have been inclined towards acting since childhood. Even when I did theater in my childhood, people praised me a lot. I played the character of a 70 year old man at the age of 12. I got the best actor award. Sanand said, I will now be seen in the film ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’.
