1. The highest run in a season – Virat Kohli (2016)
Team India star batsman Virat Kohli scored 973 runs in a season of IPL in 2016.
He scored 4 centuries and 7 half -centuries in 16 matches. Till date no player has reached this record.
2. Most runs in an innings – Chris Gayle (175),
In 2013, Chris Gayle scored 175 runs in 66 balls against Pune Warriors.
In this innings, he hit 17 sixes and 13 fours and his strike rate was 265.15.
So far no batsman has come close to this record.
3. The most hat -trick – Amit Mishra (3 hat -trick)
India’s spinner Amit Mishra holds the record for the highest 3 hat -trick in IPL.
He has repeated this feat three times and so far no other bowler has reached this figure.
4. The highest wicket in debut match – Aljari Joseph (6 wickets)
West Indies fast bowler Aljari Joseph took 6 wickets for 12 runs in 2019, debuting for Mumbai Indians.
This is the best performance of IPL debut so far.
5. Fast century – Chris Gayle (30 balls)
Chris Gayle is also in the name of the fastest century in the IPL.
He scored a century in 30 balls in 2013 itself. He scored 175 runs in the same innings.
Second place is Yusuf Pathan who scored a century in 37 balls.
