Mexico City: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake occurred on Friday evening in the state of Oxaca, Southern Mexico. Giving this information, the Mexican officials and the United States Geological Survey said that the earthquake occurred 64 km in the ground near the southern city of San Miguel Achutla. It started from the earthquake (40 miles) below.

Mexican President Claudia Shinbam said on Twitter that there is no news of any kind of life and property due to the earthquake. While the Governor of Oxere State said on his ‘T’ post that despite this, all disaster management systems have been implemented. He also had to immediately contact President Claudia Shinbam.

The earthquake -affected country’s Foreign Minister Claudia Shinbam was also contacted immediately.

The earthquake also affected the country’s capital Mexico City. Although the earthquake tremors were very weak, but still the citizens came out of the ground and kept walking in the open for some time.
