4 morning habits to avoid diabetes

If you feel that diabetes is only the disease of the elderly, then the time has come to think. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) report, 8.98 crore people in India are currently suffering from diabetes, and this number can increase by 73% to 15.6 crore by 2050. Changing lifestyle, stress, fast food addiction and lack of physical activity are the main causes of increasing the disease. These figures are not only numbers, but a serious warning.

However, despite concern there is also a ray of hope. Health experts believe that early hours of morning are like a reset button for the body. By using this time properly and adopting some simple habits, blood sugar level can be controlled to a large extent before breakfast. Let’s know those four morning habits, which can help reduce the risk of diabetes:

1. Drinking lukewarm water on an empty stomach

Metabolism is activated by drinking one or two glasses of lukewarm water as soon as you wake up in the morning and increase insulin sensitivity in the body. This habit helps to free the body from toxins and helps in controlling blood sugar.

2. Light Fijical Physical Activity

Morning walks, yoga or light exercises not only provide energy to the body, but also improves glucose metabolism. A 20-30 minutes of light physical activity can help prevent diabetes daily.

3. Breeding Exercise and Meditation

Stress can become a major cause of diabetes. Pranayam or deep breathing exercise of a few minutes in the morning reduces stress hormones (cortisol), which keeps the blood sugar stable.

4. Fiber rich in fiber and low-black breakfast

Morning breakfast is the most important food of the day. Eat foods with fiber, protein and low glycemic index in breakfast, such as oats, sprouted grains, or oatmeal. They prevent blood sugar from growing rapidly and provide energy to the body.

By adopting these habits, you can control your diabetes and improve your health.
