37-Year-Old Woman Undergoes Nose Reconstruction Surgery After Dog Attack In Powai | File Pic (Representative Image)

Mumbai: A resident of Powai and research scientist by profession, Richa Kaushik Arora, 37, was attacked by two unleashed dogs and had to undergo a nose construction surgery. Following the incident, the Powai police on Sunday registered a case against the dog owner, Divyesh Virk, his driver, and his domestic help for alleged negligent conduct.

About The Incident

On Saturday at 10.30 am, while walking towards another building to inspect renovation work at her second flat in Jal Vayu Vihar, Arora was attacked by a pit bull and a Doberman. The dogs attacked her face, hands, and leg, following which she was rushed to Hiranandani Hospital.

The Virk couple was abroad and had left the dogs in the case of their driver Atul Sawant and house help Swati. Megha Kuchik
