Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A 35-year old woman was allegedly gang-raped by six people in Morena district, the police said on Sunday. Two men were arrested in connection with the incident. The incident took place under the Mahua police station. ASP Gopal Singh Dhakad said the incident took place on October 9.

The woman and her husband run a grocery shop. Two brothers—Shivam and Karu Katare—offered the woman household work for better income. They took her to Piprai village and left her in a house and went away making some excuse. When the woman entered the house, she found six men sitting there. They all caught hold the woman and raped her.

They told the woman that they had paid money to the two brothers for a woman. One of them also recorded a video of the crime. Later, they left the woman to another place and fled.

When the woman returned home and narrated the ordeal to her husband, the husband contacted the brothers and raised the complaint. The two threatened the couple with dire consequences if they revealed the incident to the police.

The police came to know that the rapists had uploaded the video on social media and when the couple came to know, they approached the police and filed the complaint. On the report, the police have arrested the two brothers and have launched a manhunt to arrest the other accused of the case.

Woman Gang-Raped By Husband’s Friends

Bhopal/Morena (Madhya Pradesh): Three friends of a man gang-raped his wife in Shivpuri district, said police on Sunday. ASP Gopal Singh Dhakad informed that the incident took place on November 27, in village Nandpura under the Porsa police.

At the time of the incident, the woman and her child were in the house as the in-laws had gone to attend a wedding function. The three accused scaled the wall and entered the house and took turns to rape the woman.

Meantime the family members returned from the marriage and witnessed the act, following which the accused fled from the spot. The family members approached the police and filed a complaint. The police have arrested all three accused.
