Nashik: 310 Students Showcase Innovative Experiments At Science Exhibition | Sourced
A total of 310 students participated in the science exhibition organised on the occasion of Science Day at Adarsh Shishu Vihar and Abhinav Bal Vikas Mandir School of the Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj (MPVS), where they presented various amazing experiments. Out of these, 60 experiments were initially selected in three stages. From these, the judges chose the final six experiments for awards.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Adv Nitin Thackeray, General Secretary of MPVS. Dr Sayajirao Gaikwad, Director of MPVS and Chairman of the School Committee, was the chief guest for the programme. Other dignitaries present included School Management Committee Chairman Chetan Bachhav, Vice President Sujata Jadhav, School Committee Member Jayant Khandve and examiners Swapnali Kawale and Dnyaneshwar Shinde, both science teachers from Maratha High School. Principal Meenakshi Gayadhani, along with senior teachers Ranjana Patil, Archana Thackeray, Vilas Jadhav and Archana Walke, were also present at the event.
The dignitaries lit the lamp and performed idol worship, followed by a presentation of the Ishastavan and a welcome song by the school choir. Principal Meenakshi Gayadhani introduced the programme by presenting the progress graph of the students and welcomed the dignitaries with books and bouquets.
Students dressed up as various scientists, while science-themed rangoli and plaques were displayed. Using their creativity, the students prepared and excellently presented various experiments. Judges Dnyaneshwar Shinde and Swapnali Kawale praised the children for their enthusiastic participation and impressive presentations. Teacher Anita Wagh provided detailed information about Science Day. The programme was conducted by assistant teachers Poonam Nikam and Vandana Shirsath, while senior teacher Ranjana Patil proposed the vote of thanks.
