The World Boarding School Fair 2024, hosted by The Red Pen, was held in Mumbai and Delhi on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The event brought together over 30 boarding schools from 11 countries, offering participants the chance to explore various educational opportunities globally.

According to The Red Pen, the fair served as a platform for families to interact directly with school representatives, providing an opportunity to learn more about various educational options. More than 100 families attended, bringing children from kindergarten through grade 12. They engaged in discussions about different curricula, the support systems in place for students, and the schools’ approaches to overall student development. The event allowed parents and students to gather detailed information, ask questions, and explore how each school aligned with their educational goals and needs.

Namita Mehta, President of The Red Pen said, “I’m delighted that so many families could benefit from this event. It’s clear that there is a growing interest in boarding school education for its ability to nurture holistic development, and we are excited to see so many parents considering this as a potential next step for their children.”

Kim Dixit, CEO and Co-founder of The Red Pen, remarked, “We are thrilled with the turnout and the level of engagement from families who are exploring the possibility of boarding school education. The conversations between school representatives and parents were thoughtful and insightful, which reflects the growing interest in providing children with an enriching, globally-minded education.”

The Red Pen is an admissions consultancy that helps students apply to boarding schools, universities, master’s as well as MBA programs around the world. While the event was hosted by The Red Pen, it was sponsored by Zinc. Zinc is a financial solutions company that seamlessly helps families manage their children’s educational expenses abroad.

Adesh Singh Chadha, Head of Sales at Zinc, noted, “The World Boarding School Fair 2024 was a wonderful experience. Collaborating with The Red Pen allowed us to demonstrate how Zinc can help parents craft a personalised financial plan and support their children’s study abroad dreams.”
