Indore: 3 UP Cops Injured As Car Collides With Truck At Vijay Nagar Square | FP Photo
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A speeding car of Uttar Pradesh’s Jalaun police collided with a truck at the Vijay Nagar Square in the wee hours of Sunday. The accident occurred as the truck was crossing through the square and the car crashed into it.
The car occupants were a sub-inspector (SI) and two constables, who sustained minor injuries and were sent to a private hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the incident took place around 4:30 am when the car bearing Uttar Pradesh registration number UP92AP 8722 was coming from AB Road and collided with a truck crossing the square. The front portion of the car was severely damaged. Locals rescued the SI and two constables from the car and informed police.

Investigation team en route to Chhattisgarh
According to police, the injured officers stationed in Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh have been identified as SI Anupam Mishra and constables Vipin Kumar and Peetesh. They were traveling through Indore on their way to Chhattisgarh for an investigation.
The locals reported that following the accident, the SI was searching for his pistol, which he later found underneath the car seat. Both the vehicles were seized by the police and the injured officers were discharged after a preliminary treatment.
