₹3.5 Lakh Heist Caught On Camera: 3 Men Barge Into ‘Jan Seva’ Centre, Loot Money At Gun-Point In Dehradun |
Dehradun: Three miscreants allegedly barged into a ‘jan sewa’ centre (common services centre), and looted Rs 3.5 lakh in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun. The incident, which took place earlier this month in broad daylight, was recorded on the CCTV installed in the office and its video went viral on social media.
In the video, it could be seen that one of the miscreants entered the common services centre and started talking to the official present there. In the meantime, two of his accomplices entered the centre. They were wearing masks. They took out a pistol and pointed towards the official. The accused who came in the first went outside to keep a vigil.

Meanwhile, one of the miscreants present inside the office snatched the official’s mobile phone, while, the second one opened the drawer and took out cash. The official resisted and even threw his chair towards them. However, they managed to flee from the spot.
Notably, the common services centre is located in the Vani Vihar area. Mini ATM, money transfer, Aadhar car centre and other facilities are available in the centre.
After receiving the information, the police swung into action and registered a case against the unidentified miscreants. A manhunt operation has been launched to nab the accused. No arrests have been made so far.
