Mumbai: The Dadar police have registered an FIR against three employees of an electronics store in the Dadar West area for allegedly stealing goods worth Rs 41 lakh. The employees are Vaibhav Tambe (stock manager), Sujit Singh (product manager), and Nilesh Jawkar (software operator)and have initiated an investigation.

In the FIR, Sunil Dennis Fernandes, 48, the general manager of Kohinoor Televideo Private Limited said the employees conspired to steal 73 items, including 68 expensive mobile phones, two laptops, three smartwatches, and two Bluetooth headphones, from the showroom between June 30, 2023 and November 30, 2024 and soled the items. Additionally, Jawkar fabricated fake bills to sell electronic goods worth Rs 3.51 lakh to his relatives.

The theft came to light during a stock audit conducted by the company’s owner. When the owner questioned the three suspects based on his suspicions, the theft was confirmed. The search for the accused is underway, said an official.
