The police said they all had criminal records and were involved in two cases involving attempts to commit murder, bodily offenses, violations of the Arms Act, and property offenses at the Kolsepwadi police station. Following this, the police started the procedure for externment after gathering their details.

According to the police, they all created terror in the Chakki Naka area of Kalyan East. They did not fear the maintenance of law and order. They had criminal records. Therefore, they have all been externed under Section 55 of the Maharashtra Police Act.”

DCP, Atul Zende from the Kalyan Division has ordered the proposal for their externment. The police served them externment notices.

Police Inspector Ganesh Nhayade from the Kolsewadi police station said, “We have sent an externment proposal to DCP Atul Zende, and the order has been granted. They have all been externed for two years from the jurisdictions of Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad districts. One of our teams took them and left them in Satara district, where their relative lives.”
