Compressor Air Turns Deadly: 28-Year-Old Dies As Colleagues Point Compressor Valve Towards His Private Parts, Two Detained | FPJ

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking and tragic bizarre incident, a 28-year-old worker at a mill died after his colleagues reportedly directed a compressor’s air valve towards him to remove dirt from his body but unfortunately the air pressure generated by the compressor was so much that it entered his body through his private parts leading to his death.

The incident occurred around 7 am at Jagannath Ramgopal Dal Mill near Teen Imli Square, under Azad Nagar police station jurisdiction on Sunday. Two persons have been detained by the police in connection with the incident and a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder under relevant sections of BNS is to be registered against the two.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Motiram Jhamre, a native of Khargone, who was living on rent in Chitawad.

Additional DCP (zone-1) Alok Kumar Sharma said, “The police have detained two persons Dheeraj Lowanshi and Mahendra Yadav of Sagar. An air compressor installed at the mill is used by workers to remove dal dust from their bodies. On the day of the incident, Motiram reportedly had dust and dirt stuck to him. One of his colleagues, Mahendra held the air valve at maximum pressure and directed it towards Motiram, which caused severe internal damage, including to his private parts, ultimately resulting in his death. Police conducted his post-mortem and the short autopsy report revealed that he died due to shock and haemorrhage caused by intestinal perforation,” Sharma said.

Motiram’s cousin said that he had a night shift at the mill from 8 pm to 8 am. He claimed that the accused allegedly pointed the pipe at Motiram’s private parts for fun and laughter, causing air to fill his body. The accused then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead, and they fled the scene.

The family was informed about the incident when the labour contractor called Motiram’s brother and asked him to visit MY Hospital. When they reached the hospital, they found that Motiram had already died. They were told that two to three persons had dropped him off at the hospital in an auto-rickshaw before leaving.

The police began a probe to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
