27 Injured After Bus Carrying Russian Tourists Crashes Into Pole At Highway In Pattaya | X
Pattaya: In a shocking incident, a bus carrying Russian tourists crashed into a pole on highway in Thailand’s Pattaya on Thursday. The horrific accident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that a speeding bus rams into a pole and then collides with a concrete fence at a toll plaza at the entrance of Pattaya. The entire incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the area and the video is being widely shared on social media.
As per reports, 27 Russian tourists have suffered injuries into the incident and they have been rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment. The video shows that the speeding bus which went out of control of the driver rammed into a pole at the toll plaza and also hit a car from behind at a fast speed. There are no reports of any casualties in the accident.
There are reports that there were around 37 passengers on the bus which met with the accident on the highway in Pattaya. Pattaya is tourist destination in Thailand and many tourists visit the place, especially during the New Year for celebrations.
The authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter and are examining the reason behind the accident. The accident occurred on January 2 at around 6 PM, as per Thailand time.
