A 24-year-old biker sustained injuries after Chinese manjha slit his throat in Bhiwandi on Monday evening. The victim is a resident of Bhiwandi. He returned home from his work place when he met with the incident.
The incident took place at the late Balasaheb Thackeray flyover bridge within the jurisdiction of Bhiwandi City Police Station on Sunday evening when Khan was on his motorcycle heading towards home in Vanjarpatti Naka when he was injured by a Chinese manjha.
According to the police, Khan fell on the road with serious injuries. The motorist stopped their vehicle, rushed to the spot, and found him lying in a pool of blood. They promptly alerted the local police.
He was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Bhiwandi, where he received first aid and was later referred to another hospital in Thane for further treatment. According to the police, a bystander found a bunch of Chinese manjha on the bridge and later collected it and gave it to the police.
Krishna Kharade, senior police inspector from Bhiwandi City Police Station, said, “We received information that a man was injured after being hit by Chinese manjha. Our team visited the hospital to inquire about the matter.”
