23 March 1931-A day when three sons of India were hanged by the British in a hurry in Lahore jail. This was the time when spring was at its peak, but the rituals of the British rule turned this season into mourning.

Hanged before the scheduled time – why was the British so soon?

The British plan was to cremate the funeral of the three martyrs in a secret manner so that the news does not reach the public.

In the morning, when the villagers came to know about this inhuman act, they took out the bodies from the river and performed the last rites.
