2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 2.16 lakh, reflecting a Rs 5,000 increase from the previous model. This update brings the bike in line with OBD-2B emissions norms, enhancing its performance and efficiency.
Although the design remains unchanged, the V-Strom SX now offers three exciting color options: Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Sonoma Red. With bookings now open, deliveries of the updated bike are set to begin soon.
Suzuki’s 2025 V-Strom SX is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine, now updated to comply with OBD-2B norms. This engine generates 26.5bhp and 22.2Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox, offering smooth performance and excellent fuel efficiency.
The adventure bike is equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster that includes Suzuki Ride Connect, alongside practical features such as sleek LED headlights, sturdy knuckle guards, and an aluminium rear luggage mount. Its design emphasizes its rugged adventure-ready spirit with a tall windscreen, a beak-like front fender, and dynamic fuel tank extensions.
For optimal handling, the V-Strom SX uses telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, while braking is enhanced by dual-channel ABS with single discs on both ends. The bike is also fitted with dual-purpose tubeless tyres mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, ensuring stability on all types of terrain.
Suzuki has updated its Gixxer series to meet OBD-2B emission norms for 2025. The Gixxer 250 is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh, and the Gixxer SF 250 at Rs 2.07 lakh, while the 150cc Gixxer and Gixxer SF are priced at Rs 1.38 lakh and Rs 1.47 lakh, respectively. The bikes now feature new colour options, including Metallic Mat Black No. 2 and Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White. Key features include Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS), Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP), a 6-speed gearbox, dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect, and stylish dual mufflers and alloy wheels.
