Maruti Suzuki has launched Alto K10-2025 with 6 airbags. Now 6 airbags will be found in all variants of this small hatchback car. However, its price has increased by Rs 16,000 with 6 airbags. Maruti Alto K10 will be available in a total of eight variants, which will be priced between Rs 4.23 lakh to Rs 6.21 lakh. It has two AMT versions – VXI and VXI+ – which cost Rs 5.60 lakh and Rs 6.10 lakh respectively. The CNG fuel option is available with LXI and VXI, which is priced at Rs 5.90 lakh and Rs 6.21 lakh respectively. Alto K10 is currently the cheapest car available for sale in India. Therefore, the company has launched its updated version.

Features and specifications
Apart from six airbags, this smallest Maruti car is also upgraded with a 3-point seat belt for passengers sitting behind. Other security features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), reverse parking sensor, ABS with EBD and colpasable steering columns. Additionally, the hatchback includes rear door child lock, engine immobilizer, high-speed alert system, front seat belt pretensers with force limitors, seat belt reminders with bajer, headlamp leveling and high-mounted stop lamps. Maruti has also upgraded the music system of Alto K10. The 7 -inch touchscreen infotainment system now comes with four speakers instead of two. Its main attractions include entry without key, control over steering, manually adjustable external rear view mirror (ORVM) and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Engine and power
The Maruti Alto K10 is powered by a 1-liter Naturally aspirated dualjet petrol engine, producing 67 bhp and 89 Nm peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. Apart from this, the CNG variant of Alto K10 also has the same engine that gives 56 bhp and 82 Nm torque. In the CNG version, 10-speed of Alto is specially equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. The CNG version also includes the idol engine start/stop technology.
