Thane: The Manpada police booked a 20-year-old man for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old boy after a balloon filled with color water was mistakenly thrown at him in the building complex in Dombivli on Thursday evening. The accused has been identified as Prayan Jadhav, 20, who lives in Yashwant complex situated in the Sagaon area of Dombivli.

The incident took place at 8:30 PM at the complex when Harsh Kamble was playing Holi with his friends. Kamble had color-filled water and threw it at his friends. However, it landed on Jadhav mistakenly and got him wet. Jadhav rushed to him, started a heated brawl, and manhandled him.

Following this, Jadhav took him to the other side and confronted him. In a fit of rage, he took a sharp weapon and stabbed him in the hand, which led to serious injuries before fleeing the scene.
