A quiet meal at Fuyuanju Restaurant in Hangzhou, China, took an unexpected turn when a two-year-old boy, unable to hold it any longer, urinated into a glass served to them. The little one suddenly stood up, pulled down his pants, and peed into the utensil instead of rushing to the washroom. His mother allowed the boy to do so and also defended his actions.
Boy pees into a glass
A fellow diner at the restaurant told the media that the family of three was dining when the boy suddenly started removing his trousers, drawing the attention of people. They were shocked to see that the boy then peed into a glass placed at the table.
The boy had been dining with his mother and two elderly relatives when he felt the urgent urge to urinate. One of the elderly members quickly fetched a bin, suggesting the boy relieve himself there. But the mother dismissed the idea, reportedly saying, “Just let him pee directly into the glass”.
Concerned glass disposed by restaurant
Customers witnessed the entire scene as the child stood up, removed his bottoms, and urinated into a glass—one typically used by customers at the restaurant. Local news media reported that the restaurant threw away the concerned glass sooner.
It was learned that the parent apologised to a staff member, saying, “We are sorry that the kid could not really hold it any more. So he peed in the cup”.
This bizarre incident comes just days after another controversy in China, where two teenagers went viral for their drunken act. The intoxicated young men were caught urinating into a hotpot soup at a different restaurant.
