2 Sisters Die By Consuming Poison
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Two sisters died on Sunday by consuming poison as a joke while daring each other, Najirabad police said here on Sunday.
Police station in-charge Krishna Thakur told Free Press that two sisters, Bhoori Bai (20) and Radha Bai (25), lost their lives on Sunday after consuming poison as part of a dare. After the incident, their family members took them to a private hospital were doctors declared them brought dead.
He further said that Bhoori Bai had been married in April and both women were married to farmers. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The families of the deceased are devastated and police have urged residents to be cautious about engaging in risky behaviour.
Unidentified Man Found Hanging By Tree
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 37-year-old man was found dead by hanging on a tree near railway line, Bajariya police said here on Sunday. Police station in-charge Jitendra Singh said that the police received a call on Sunday morning about a body hanging from a tree near coach factory.

The cops immediately rushed to the spot and took custody of the body. Singh further revealed that the body is that of an unidentified male and it appears to be a case of suicide. The body is estimated to be around 8-10 days old and has started to decompose, he said.
He added that the area is a remote part of the railway line and not many people frequent it. It was only when some labourers were passing by on Sunday morning that they noticed a foul smell and discovered the body. The police are currently investigating the matter and are trying to identify the deceased. We will keep the body in the mortuary for 24 hours to see if anyone comes forward to claim it, Singh said.
₹68.61 Lakh Awarded To Kin Of Deceased Teacher
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal District and Sessions Court has issued an order to give compensation of Rs 68.61 lakh with 6% annual interest to the family of government school assistant teacher Jagdish Chandra Verma who died in a road accident on Indore-Bhopal Highway. Judge Prahlad Singh Kamethia passed the order.

The compensation amount will have to be paid jointly or separately to the heir of deceased by the insurance company and the driver and owner of the car that caused the accident. Jagdish Chandra Verma was riding a bike on September 13, 2023.
At about 12 noon, driver of car (MP 04 CH 3253) hit the bike on Indore-Bhopal Road in front of the poultry farm under Kotwali Sehore police station area. “In the accident, Jagdish Chandra Verma died,” said advocate LB Yadav who appeared on behalf of victim.
