MP: 2 More Crocodiles Rescued From Ex-MLA Harvansh Singh Rathore’s Bungalow In Sagar |

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The forest team rescued two remaining crocodiles from the pond situated inside the bungalow of Banda’s ex-BJP Harvansh Singh Rathore in Sagar on Saturday. Two crocodiles were rescued from the same pond on Friday. With this, four crocodiles have been rescued.

The length of rescued crocodiles is between 8 to 10 feet. They are more than five years old. A forest official from Sagar said two more crocodiles were rescued from the pond situated close to a temple, which was constructed by Rathore’s mother.

Like the previous two rescued crocodiles, these two crocodiles were released in Nauradehi Sanctuary. Meanwhile, Rathore and his family members denied that they owned pond. The pond belongs to temple, which is managed by the priest, they added. The forest department has given notice to Rathore, seeking the documents to know that the owner of pond.

Forest dept came to know through media

A few days back I-T department had carried out search at the premises of Rathore family along with some others including Rajesh Kesharwani to ascertain tax evasion.

It was during the search that I-T officials saw crocodiles. However, the forest department came to know about crocodile through media on Friday. On Friday itself, forest department rescue team reached Rathore’s bungalow and rescued two crocodiles.
