16-time WWE World Champion John Cena shared an inspirational post with his fans on Christmas Eve. In the latest post on X (Formerly Twitter) Cena explained the value of giving someone their word and how important it is to live up to promises.

He wrote, “Make promises. Give your word to people. Put yourself and your word on the line to hold yourself accountable to do your best.” In 2025, Cena will embark on a final tour with WWE, competing full-time before retiring.

John Cena, 47, who has been a prominent figure in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for over two decades, made a surprise appearance at the Money in the Bank 2024 and shocked the audience with his announcement of retirement from WWE.

John Cena started off his WWE career in 2001 and went on to establish his name in the wrestling world. Cena holds the record of winning WWE Championship 13 times, while winning three titles at World Heavyweight Championship. The 47-year-old is also a five-time WWE United States Champion, two-time Royal Rumble winner and one-time Money in the Bank winner.

During his storied 20 years career on the WWE arena, Cena created memorable rivalries against some of the well known names in wrestling, including the likes The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), Triple H (Paul Levesque), CM Punk (Phillip Brooks) and Randy Orton.

Cena has been not so active in the WWE arena over the past few years as he has been transitioning into becoming a full-time actor. The legendary wrestler appeared in the films like Suicide Squad. Fast X and The Independent. He was last seen in Jackpot
