In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl attacked a provision store owner with a sharp blade after he allegedly refused to take back an item she had purchased in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur. A video of the incident, which has surfaced on social media, shows the girl slashing at the man with a razor.
According to reports, the incident—captured on CCTV—took place on Friday inside a shop in Krishnaganj.
The shop owner alleged that the girl frequently bought items from his store. After using them for a while, she would return to the shop to demand refunds. The shopkeeper stated that he had accepted returns a few times before but refused this time.
Enraged, the girl first verbally abused him, then pulled out a sharp blade and attacked the shopkeeper, leaving everyone in the store in shock. The footage shows blood covering the floor within seconds as the girl injures the shopkeeper on his hand and stomach.
After the attack, the girl attempted to flee but was caught by bystanders. The injured shopkeeper was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The victim’s family has filed a police complaint, and an investigation is ongoing. Locals revealed that the girl has a history of mental illness and is undergoing treatment.
