Kolkata: 15 mothers from Kolkata and surrounding areas set a wonderful example to save the life of a newborn baby from Ranchi. The baby, who was on a ventilator after recent heart surgery, required 360 ml of breast milk per day to survive, while his mother was able to provide only 10-15 ml of milk due to illness. An advertisement for breast milk help was posted on the internet media by the child’s father and friends, seeing which many new mothers stepped forward for help.

Due to the contribution of these mothers, the condition of the one and a half month old child is improving.
