Ashoknagar (Madhya Pradesh): A 14-year-old girl had a narrow escape at Ashoknagar railway station when she accidentally slipped while trying to board a moving train.

The whole accident was recorded in the CCTV cameras installed on the platform. The video of the same is circulating widely on social media.

In the video, the girl can be seen running to catch the train but losing her balance and nearly falling under it. A nearby cop quickly acted, pulling her to safety and preventing her from falling onto the railway tracks.

According to information, Government Railway Police (GRP) constable Govind Singh Chauhan ran to her rescue and pulled her to safety.

Constable Chauhan, who was nearby, acted quickly and saved her from serious harm.

Fortunately, the girl was not seriously injured.

Meanwhile, people on social media are praising the constable for his quick thinking and bravery, calling him a real-life hero. Many users are also urging others not to take such risks and reminding everyone that trying to board a moving train can be extremely dangerous.

In response to the incident, railway authorities have also issued safety advisories, emphasising the importance of following railway rules.

They have urged passengers to be cautious at stations and avoid attempting to catch a train once it has started moving, as such actions can lead to serious accidents or even loss of life.
