Chhattisgarh Naxalite encounter: A total of 14 Naxalites have been killed in the encounter going on between Naxalites and security forces for the last 36 hours in Gariaband, Chhattisgarh. Security forces have also recovered a large number of weapons. Encounter continues between security forces and Naxalites on Bhaludiggi hill of Kulhadighat.

After the encounter yesterday, bodies of two Naxalites were found in the search operation. A woman was involved in this. Bodies of 12 more Naxalites have been recovered this morning. Many automatic weapons have also been recovered from them. According to sources, Naxalite chief Jairam alias Chalapathi of Odisha state, carrying a bounty of Rs 1 crore, has also been killed. There is news of CCM Manoj and Guddu also being killed.

 

A security guard injured

A security guard was injured in the clash. Which has been airlifted to Raipur. About 1,000 soldiers involved in this joint operation (Odisha-Chhattisgarh Security Force) are calling for the end of Naxalites. A total of 10 teams of Odisha-Chhattisgarh security forces have conducted a joint operation against the Naxalites. There is a possibility of more bodies of Naxalites being found in the investigation. At present, the seized bodies are being identified.

Regarding the Gariaband encounter, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Sao said, ‘Union Home Minister Amit Shah wants to make the country Naxal-free by March 31, 2026. Under which the effort of killing 14 Naxalites in the operation conducted by the security forces is commendable.
