12-yr-Boy Dies After Cycle Handlebar Punctures Liver; Family Donate His Eyes
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In an unusual incident, a 12-year-old boy died while riding a bicycle after its handlebar struck his abdomen, puncturing the liver, on Wednesday. The family members of the deceased donated his eyes.
According to police, the deceased was Krishna aka Vatsal son of Ashish Rawat, a resident of Sudama Nagar. Krishna was riding a bicycle with friends in his colony where he had ridden dozens of times in the past. But that day, for some reason, he accidently lost control of his bicycle and fell on the road.
The handlebar of the bicycle struck his abdomen, causing his liver to burst, resulting in his death on the spot. He was a student of class 7 and the only son of his parents. The police began a probe into the case to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
College Student Found Dead In Hostel, Kin Donate Her Eyes
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A female student pursuing course in interior design was found dead under suspicious circumstances in her hostel room under Lasudia police station limits on Thursday. She was found unconscious at the hostel in the morning and was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
She had an injury on the back of her head. Her family donated her eyes after autopsy. According to police, the deceased was Kashish Badhwani, a resident of Gwalior. Her family said that Kashish was pursuing bachelor’s degree (interior design) from a private college in the city and was living in a private hostel.
She had recently got a job and had her birthday on December 2, but was planning to celebrate it on Sunday as she did not get leave that day. The family further said that she had talked to her mother around 9:30 am, and when her roommates returned around 10 am, she did not open the door.
They opened the room with the help of hostel staff and found her lying unconscious in the bathroom. She had an injury on the back of her head and was bleeding. She might have slipped, causing her injuries. The police began a probe into the case and conducted the post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause behind the death.
