Mumbai – Students often have to face punishment due to mistakes from the examination department of Mumbai University. In a recent Senate meeting, two professors raised questions regarding the revaluation of the results of the students to throw light on the issue. Reacting to their request, the university said that about 15,000 students had applied for revaluation after the results of the 2024 Winter Semester Examination. Out of these, 11,000 students passed even after changing their marks. This answer shows how careless the university’s professor can be when giving marks to the papers.
This year, when the results of the third and fifth semester of LLB were declared, a student failed with only 21 points in the Indian Civil Protection Code. He asked for a copy of the answer book and when he saw him, he suffered another setback. Out of these, the examiner of about 30 marks answers did not investigate. He applied for this and met the officer, and later his results were changed. The same thing has happened with many other students. In the online result, some were declared failure, while these students were found passed after revaluation.
