Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The 11-day ‘Cyber Mela’, organised by City Police at Gandhi Hall premises, concluded on Tuesday, making people aware of cybercrimes. It marked the conclusion of the ‘Safe Click Drive’ of state police as well. Commissioner of Police Santosh Kumar Singh, additional CP Amit Singh, the DCPs of all zones and other officers were present.
Under the cyber awareness campaign by the police, many events were organised by the police for 11 days at Gandhi Hall and through this, people were made aware of how to avoid cybercrime and how to identify scammers.
During the conclusion of the campaign, stalls were also set up by various social organisations to show how many types of cybercrimes happen, including a painting competition. The social organisations and various people who participated in the awareness campaign along with the police were also felicitated by CP Singh, additional CP Amit Singh, and other officers.

A song was also launched to make people aware of cybercrimes. The centre of attraction in this campaign was the automatic running robot. The robot, made by a private company, has many features. It has the facility of cameras with various movements.
CP Singh informed the mediapersons that during the campaign from February 1 to February 11, many people were made aware at various levels in the city. The people were made aware of the use of social media and they were also explained how the scammers can commit cybercrimes
