Budget 2025: In the Union Budget 2025-26, Rs 1024.30 crore has been allocated for host and entertainment of Union Ministers, Cabinet Secretariat and Prime Minister’s Office and Government Guests. In 2024-25, this amount will be Rs 1021.83 crore.
619.04 crore allocated for the expenses of Union ministers
619.04 crore has been allocated for the expenses of Union Ministers in the budget presented in the Lok Sabha on Saturday by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. This amount of expenditure includes salaries and allowances, travel expenses of Union ministers, state ministers and former Prime Ministers. This amount also includes the cost of VVIP flights. The National Security Secretariat has been allocated Rs 182.75 crore.
This amount will be Rs 270.08 crore in 2024-25. 70.12 crore rupees have been allocated to the Principal Scientific Advisory Office. In the year 2024-24, this amount has been allocated Rs 75.68 crore to the Cabinet Secretariat. This amount will be Rs 73.98 crore in 2024-25. 70.91 crore has been allocated to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). This amount will be Rs 65.30 crore in 2024-25.
