1. The syllabus, question style and marking pattern of each entrance exam differs from the other. Check out the official guidelines to know the subject-wise weightage and time distribution in each subject.
2. Create a realistic timetable which includes all subjects and allows time for revision and mock tests. Maintain established study hours and  interspersed breaks.
3. Your aim should not be memorizing but rather doing a conceptual study. Build up your fundamentals through NCERT books, reference guides, and online resources.
4. Solving previous year’s question papers makes you understand the exam pattern and increases confidence. It enhances your speed and accuracy too.
5. Mock tests prepare you for the actual exam. These are useful for time management, figuring out weaker areas, and helping to calm exam nerves.
6. You should practice time management by giving time limits to each section. Don’t spend too long on one question — move on, and come back if necessary.
7. However, it is suggested to regularly read newspapers, watch the news, and keep track of major ongoing events for entrance exams which have general knowledge sections.
8. Be kind to yourself physically and mentally. Sleep well, eat good food, and meditate or breathe appropriately to stay calm.
9. Prepare quick notes and review them regularly. During the days just before the examination, stress on high-weightage topics.
10. Believe in yourself! However, you can sometimes perform better with a positive mindset. Close yourself to encouraging people and do not overstress.
